Write a letter to your friend describing the co-curricular activities of your school

Dear Jane,

Glad to receive your e-mail after a long time. Today, I’m going to tell you about the co-curricular activities of our school.

Our school is famous for its co-curricular activities. The annual cultural programme and inter-school competitions are held every year on our school premises. This year, we had chess and carom board competition where I along with a friend jointly became runners up from our school.

Moreover, our school has debate club, computer club, outdoor games club, photography club, cultural club and science club. The students have to join at least two, clubs and get involved in co-curricular activities, It is to be noted that we have 10 marks for the co-curricular activities, which is adjusted with the marks distribution of the annual examination.

No more today. With best wishes and love.

Letter to Your Friend Congratulating Him on His Brilliant Success in the Exam

Dear Abhijit,
I have just heard of your result of the Final Examination. I would like to convey my heartiest congratulations on your brilliant success. To secure GPA-5 is not a matter of joke. All your friends and relatives must be proud that you have won such distinction. We are especially proud that you performed so well even though you had fallen ill just before the examination.

I am sure this result will encourage you to do better in your higher studies. If you come out successfully of the HSC Examination, I hope you will be able to choose either Medical or Engineering course. If it is Computer Science, you should prefer BUET to RUET.

I think you are being flooded with letters from your friends and relatives. No more today. More when we meet. I wish you a more glorious future.

Yours ever,
Hasan

Write a letter to your friend describing your experience of visiting a new place

Dear Sarika,

It was a pleasant surprise to receive your email a few days ago. In your letter, you wanted to know the

details about my study tour to the historical place in Sonargaon, Narayanganj.

Well, it was in the last month. The students of classes 9-10 arranged the study tour. Two of our honourable teachers supervised the whole tour. We started to gather at the school gate around 7:00 am in the morning. It was pretty cold but the sight of our tour bus made us excited. The bus started off before 8 am. Soon the breakfast was served. We reached Sonargaon by 9:30 am. It was a jaw-dropping experience when we entered the historical Panam city. We all were impressed by the serene sight. I personally felt as if we had been walking through the history book. The spooky but enchanting ancient doors of the buildings around us boggled our mind.

We took many photographs. Some of the members got busy taking selfie using their smart phones. We also took group photographs. One of the most interesting aspects of the tour was a brief class lecture by our teachers while we were inspecting the  architecture of the ancient buildings. We learned that those historical buildings were built centuries ago and are related with the history of Baro Bhuiyan. As the capital of the 15th century Bengal ruler Isa Khan, Sonargaon showcases the architecture of the Sultanates, Mughal and colonial periods. It was really an unforgettable experience for mine.

No more today. My best wishes will always be with you. Convey my regards to your parents.

Yours ever,

Shahin

Write a letter to your brother advising him to give up the habits of drug addiction

Dear Shuvo,
I was very unhappy and full of grief to read the letter of your class teacher who informed that you have started moving in the company of bad boys. Your class teacher has made a very strong complaint against you and this is really shocking news as it was not expected of you.

It is very shocking to know that you have started bunking classes to see movies and have also started smoking. If this tendency continues, the day may not be very far when you will start gambling, consuming alcohol and taking drugs.

You must know that a man is known by the company he keeps. If you continue moving in bad company, you will spoil your life and also bring bad name to your school and family. As we are not a rich family, we cannot afford to waste even a single rupee. Moreover, Father has very high hopes for you.

I, therefore, advise you to shun bad company immediately and devote time to studies sincerely and whole-heartedly. I hope that you will not give me a chance to receive the same complaint against you.

No more today. Come to my house to spend few days to feel better. Convey my best regards my dearest mom.

Your elder brother,
Pial

Write a letter to your friend describing an accident that you have witnessed

Dear Shamim,
I had the grimmest shock of my life the other day. A few boys of about 10 to 12 were playing with a tennis ball in a corner in the park opposite to our house. Suddenly one of them jumped over the railing and ran into the middle of the street. Just at this time, a private motor car was passing along the place. The boy came right in front of it so suddenly and so unexpectedly that the driver had no time to stop the car before it was too late.

A loud cry of alarm was going forth from the people around. Along with a few others, I ran up to the place of the accident and helped to bring out the body from under the car. We also formed a ring around the driver in order to protect him from molestation. He was not at all to be blamed for the tragedy.

Within a few minutes the police arrived at the spot and took the car and the dead body to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The sickening sight has upset me so much that it rises up before my mind’s eyes even now and fills me with horror and pity. May the departed soul sleep in peace. Accept my love and best wishes.

Sincerely Yours,
Hasib
